JOB TITLE: Power Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Power Engineer (REQ# 200678504) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop energy models for power targets, “What-if” analysis and early power estimation. Collaborate with the micro-architecture teams on design implementations to obtain better power efficiency without compromising performance. Work with designers on RTL (Register Transfer Level) power analysis and reduction. Validate power reduction changes in a comprehensive power, performance and area (PPA) space. Support various gate-level power rollup and analysis. Develop heuristics to accelerate power analysis on larger power data set. Develop power data visualization platform to extract power optimization insights. Instrument RTL and test benches to extract key energy metrics and counts.

The base pay range for this role is between $160,803 - $225,300/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
