JOB TITLE: Product Design Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Product Design Engineer (REQ# 200659722) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Drive product form, feature, and technologies through detailed engineering analysis. Design, own, and define mechanical components and assembly schemes. Analyze static and dynamic structures to quantify device performance. Participate in the development/scaling of new manufacturing and assembly processes with external vendors. Create predictive models, conduct design of experiments (DOEs), and failure analysis to resolve root cause and implement corrective actions. Assemble early prototypes and travel to factory site to support engineering builds and tackle assembly line problems. Model, build, test, and refine prototypes and characterization test systems. 10% International and domestic travel required.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 - $220,900/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
