TITLE: Product Manager, Trackers and Foundations
DUTIES:
Responsible for evaluation, development, and execution of key programs to support growth of Nextpower’s Tracker and Foundations product lines. Understand customer needs, business value analysis for new products, writing product requirements, driving product innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful products that align with business objectives. Shape product roadmap, ensuring product quality and maximizing customer satisfaction. Responsible for strategic planning, product development, roadmap management, and market analysis. Duties include identifying market trends, customer needs, and competitor analysis to drive product innovation and differentiation; leading the end-to-end product development lifecycle from conceptualization to launch, identifying and evaluating development opportunities, defining product requirements, and collaborating with engineering, design, and other teams to deliver high-quality products on time; creating and maintaining a clear and prioritized product roadmap, incorporating input from stakeholders, market research, and customer feedback and continuously evaluating and adjusting the roadmap to ensure alignment with business objectives; and conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and staying up-to-date with competitor offerings and using data-driven insights to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new feature development. 5-10% domestic and international travel.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, business administration or a related field, or foreign degree equivalent; and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate product management or engineering experience, including 2 years of experience successfully launching and managing products; 2 years of experience assessing and prioritizing product and business opportunities; 2 years of experience writing clear and measurable product requirements; 2 years of experience with product development methodologies; 2 years of experience providing market research and competitive analysis; and 2 years of experience managing multiple programs simultaneously.
SALARY: $163,195 to $176,000 per year
LOCATION: 40 hours/week in Fremont, CA (telecommuting one day per week permitted)
