TITLE:     Sr. Manager, Program Management (Mechanical Systems) (multiple openings)

DUTIES: 
Manage global team of Supply Chain Program Managers responsible for mechanical systems programs. Oversee program portfolio readiness and provide executive-level reporting. Lead cross-functional coordination between Supply Chain (Planning, Procurement, Sourcing, Logistics), Engineering, Operations, Quality, and external suppliers. Drive new product introduction (NPI) activities from design release through manufacturing ramp and commercial launch. Lead supplier onboarding, qualification, and performance management initiatives. Influence design for manufacturability (DFM), testability, and supply chain optimization. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency, cost, and quality. Negotiate project requirements and deliverables to achieve cost-effective product deployment. Provide feedback to Engineering and Supply Chain teams to improve future product designs and processes. Manage integration of mergers and acquisitions into the supply chain. 10-20% domestic and international travel required for supplier qualification and audits, manufacturing ramp-up activities, product launches, and cross-site operational alignment.

REQUIREMENTS:
Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or foreign degree equivalent; and 8 years of progressively responsible experience in manufacturing, supply chain, new product introduction (NPI), or program management. Experience must also include the following: 5 years of people management experience, including managing cross-functional teams; 5 years leading supplier qualification and development activities; 5 years supporting manufacturing ramp-up and product launches; 5 years coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, sourcing, and quality; 3 years of experience with ERP, Program Management Software Tools and PLM systems; 7 years of experience managing global and contract manufacturing partners; and 5 years of experience driving engineering requirements for complex electrical and mechanical systems.

SALARY:        $190,000 to $215,000 per year

LOCATION:           40 hours/week in Fremont, CA (telecommuting one day per week permitted)
