TITLE:    Sr. Sourcing Manager

DUTIES:
Manage existing and new CMs and suppliers relationships, demand and allocation management, new product introduction, equipment, landed cost analysis, 2nd source alternates, contract administration, preparation of reports, presentations and correspondence, market/data research and analysis, and data tracking (25% of time). Collaborate with CMs CFT, ODMs, Strategic Supply Chain Manager, engineering, quality and supply chain teams (15% of time). Support quarterly pricing cycle, Inventory Reval, NREs, reconciliation, and capacity expansion (20% of time). Support and manage cost roadmaps, capacity planning, and allocation strategy (5% of time). Perform supply and demand analysis, landed cost analysis, supplier performance trends, cost of quality analysis, weighted average scoring and analysis for various situations supply chain team encounters (5% of time). Responsible for driving end-to-end alternate sourcing qualification (5% of time). Support critical material expedite requests for existing and new products (5% of time). Provide forward price projections (5% of time). Partner proactively with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Installation Project Management, and other groups within Nextpower (5% of time). Execute RFQs, QBRs, CMs negotiations and escalations (10% of time). 25% of domestic and international travel.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering management, or a related field, or foreign degree equivalent; and 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate supply chain experience, including 5 years of experience with Excel including Pivot Tables, Vlookups and complex formula creation; 5 years of project management experience; 5 years of experience working with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders; 2 years of experience working with top tier EMS companies and electrical components; 3 years of experience with NetSuite; 2 years of experience working with Arena; and 3 years of Contract management and negotiation experience. Experience may be gained concurrently.

SALARY:                              $204,859 per year

LOCATION:         40 hours/week in Fremont, CA (telecommuting one day per week permitted)
