Motive Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer - Platform for its San Francisco, California office.
Job Duties: Design, build and maintain the ETL/Streaming data processing infrastructure/tooling to enable self-serve data processing; design, build and maintain mapping-related microservices; design, build and maintain platforms for Machine Learning model training, and live inference serving; monitor and maintain the scalability/stability of the components mentioned above. Telecommuting permitted
Requirements: Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, plus three years of experience in: Leading and driving requirements, scoping, design, development, and deployment of data; Management systems and infrastructure for building and supporting new software features; Programming in Python or Golang. Also requires experience or education in: Building large-scale distributed systems on cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, or AWS.
Alternate Requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, plus five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in Leading and driving requirements, scoping, design, development, and deployment of data; Management systems and infrastructure for building and supporting new software features; Programming in Python or Golang. Also requires experience or education in: Building large-scale distributed systems on cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, or AWS.
