Motive Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Designer: Hardware Experience for its San Francisco, California office.
Job Duties: Collaborate with a cross-functional technology and operations teams to identify and understand customer problems and translate them into innovative and impactful hardware and software solutions across ecosystem of fleet and freight management products; drive innovation for both long-haul trucking and local commercial vehicles across areas including safety, compliance, real-time tracking, asset management, maintenance, fuel, utilization, and dispatch; lead hardware design initiatives from concept through execution by leveraging expertise in design methodologies, craft, technical expertise, and stakeholder communication; serve as a steward of quality by leveraging, defining, and evolving our design systems to achieve an effective, consistent and cohesive product experience across multiple product surfaces and touchpoints. Telecommuting permitted.
Requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Two years of experience in Interaction and interface design in Mobile and Web App; Hardware/Industrial Design; Additive Manufacturing; 3D Renderings/Product Visualization; and Packaging Design.
Salary: $175,000 to $219,000 per year
