Director, Enterprise Architecture, PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services LLC, San Jose, CA. Help clients by bringing a competitive advantage through defining their technology objectives, assessing solution options, and devising architectural solutions that help them achieve both strategic goals and meet operational requirements. Utilize knowledge to build software and design data platforms, manage large volumes of client data, develop compliance procedures for data management, and continually researching new technologies to drive innovation and sustainable change. Oversee and help clients plan, align, and enable relationships among all work streams of the business. Assist with technology strategy, enterprise architecture delivery, and specific software development as per the clients needs. Demonstrate in-depth technical expertise. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. Supervise and coach professional teams.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $235,000/yr.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 7 years of related work experience, of which at least 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 5 years of related work experience.
Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:
• Advising clients on all elements of their information technology infrastructure from data center technologies and cloud to IT service management;
• Overseeing change management, enabling technology, and program delivery;
• Managing successful enterprise scale implementations and cloud transformations of IT Infrastructure and Service Management software packages, such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform;
• Developing large scale technology transformation roadmaps and go to market strategies for clients in the cable and telecommunications industry, leveraging knowledge and understanding of cloud, NFV (network function virtualization) and SDN (software defined networking) technologies; and
• Developing automation scripts leveraging Python and using a combination of Python/ SQL for extraction and manipulation of data.
80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.
Travel requirement(s): Domestic and/or international travel up to 80% required.
