Data Engineer

Data Engineer, DoorDash, Inc., San Francisco, CA. Work with business partners and stakeholders to understand data requirements. Design, develop and implement large scale, high-volume, high-performance data models and pipelines for Data Lake and Data Warehouse using predictive analysis to provide real-time data. Develop and implement data quality checks, conduct QA, and implement monitoring routines. Improve reliability and scalability of ETL processes and assist in the development and design of pipelines for seamless data flow. Collect required data and solve business concerns using cutting-edge tools and analytics. Work to deliver high quality, trustworthy data to support data migration and integration; and translate technical requirements to build pipelines to optimize data collection for storage, access, and analytics. Participate in any company-wide training programs (e.g., WeDash). Up to 30% Telecommuting Permitted. DE-S-103-CA.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $140,100 to $210,100/yr.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, or a closely related quantitative field plus three (3) years of experience in the field of software engineering or related occupation.
