JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Engineer Applications in Cupertino, CA. Research, design, develop, and implement supply chain solutions for Supply Planning, Component Procurement, and Unit and Sales Forecasting. Perform design and code reviews that identify defects and performance issues. Work with internal business partners and internal engineering team to advance software engineering techniques with next-generation Supply Chain Solutions. Analyze diagnostic reports and reconstruct failure scenarios to identify causes. Utilize architectural design decisions for data/system integration projects. Perform security audits on software source code to identify and assess vulnerabilities. Implement Supply Planning Optimization algorithm and industry standard solution programing using Gurobi and Python. Design and implement high performance, scalable BIG database solutions using data sharing, high availability mechanisms, fast search engines, and multithreaded designs. Develop critical system components and complex business process routing mechanisms. Implement a high concurrent Business Process Management system using Oracle BPM solution.
