JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer in Cupertino, California. Conduct first-party native app audience measurement and app-wide tracking implementation initiatives. Build out accurate data collection standards, post-processing logic, data quality, validation and data integration efforts. Define app-wide measurement standards, data instrumentation specifications for measuring success for app features, design, algorithm, content curation efforts, monetization performance, item discovery, item purchase flow, and marketing campaigns. Design, and develop big data-driven application measurement standards to solve for product experience. Improve user engagement using the latest technologies in data collection standards, data processing, and data integrations. Work with large volumes of data; extract and manipulate large datasets using tools such as Spark SQL. Collaborate with product, engineering, business, and science groups to formulate innovative solutions to experiment and implement advanced data mining techniques. Communicate complex concepts and the results of the analyses in a clear and effective manner to senior management.
