JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer Manager in Cupertino, CA. Design biometric system software and lead a team of developers that will develop biometric system software. Design secure biometric systems meant for user identification and authentication. Lead technical discussions including hardware, software, security and privacy teams. Debug system issues related to crashes and failures of biometric system software. Review hardware schematics and define software requirements to control biometric peripherals. Review software test plans and coordinate development and test schedules for biometric system software. Present and discuss technical challenges of biometric system software to executives. Supervise 8 biometrics software engineers.
