JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Engineer Applications in Cupertino, California. Design and develop high quality, scalable and resilient distributed systems that power Apple's analytics platform and data pipelines.  Design and build data structures on massively parallel processing platform like Teradata, Hadoop to provide efficient reporting and analytics capability. Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions meeting data warehousing design standards. Build dashboards using Self-Service tools like Tableau and perform data analysis to support business. Collaborate with multiple cross functional teams and work on solutions which has larger impact on Apple business. Work with many global teams, communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical multi-functional teams. Design and build highly scalable data pipelines using new generation tools and technologies like Spark, Kafka to induct data from various systems.
