JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer in Cupertino, California. Develop identity management systems, including authentication, authorization and provisioning. Utilize caching systems and tools and perform multi-thread programming. Configure, tune, and deploy Application and Web servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, and Jetty. Design and develop software systems to support existing and new features, and are efficient, secure, highly available, highly scalable, distributed, and supportable with good diagnostic and monitoring capabilities. Perform programming in Java/J2EE technologies, Single-SignOn, and XML in Linux/Unix environment. Develop enterprise applications to cater to high on-line customer traffic. Perform multi-threaded programming to improve the performance and efficiency of system usage. Analyze software performance problems and implement optimizations and well as diagnostic reports and reconstruct failure scenarios to identify causes. Review software source code to identify defects and performance issues. Perform security audits on software source code to identify and assess vulnerabilities. Provide stronger encryption and decryption algorithms.
