JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer - Apps in Cupertino, California. Research, design and build platforms and tools that solve a variety of complex problems in the existing Emerging Technology Systems (ETS) communications platform. Focus on developing and integrating new channels into the communications platform. Apply practical application of Apple Push Notification service, Apple PassKit web service and message transfer agents to the ETS communications platform. Scale and architecture Push Notification as a Service. Create paradigm shifting platforms and solutions. Code, build, and tune highly scalable, distributed services that handle large volumes of data. Performance tune and debug. Design and deploy dynamically scalable, available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications on the Cloud. Perform security audits on software source code to identify and assess vulnerabilities. Peer review code changes, collaborate and provide guidance to other engineers and programmers. Use of continuous integration and distribution pipelines to deploy applications. Collaborate with Product and Business Operations teams to translate business requirements and build highly robust and scalable products.
