JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout US. Design and develop software for machine learning platform services. Create and improve platform service logic with unit and integration test coverage. Design and implement database schema to facilitate performance and maintainability. Address reported issues promptly. Diagnose and fix persistent issues. Responsible for Operational monitoring and triage of service-level alerts. Develop, operate, and monitor testing framework to protect service stability and correctness. Develop and operate deployment framework to release successive improvements of services. Handle sprint planning and execution to create, define, and track work items aligning with sprint goals and priorities. Team Collaboration with group-based review and discussion of project design and technical planning. Handle project management including ability to document, track, plan and deliver technical projects. Execute within a sprint-based process. Interact with Apple Machine Learning experts to collect feedback, issues, feature requests and track requests. Investigate and prototype technical integrations. Assess and de-risk the adoption of new technologies and approaches.
