JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer in Cupertino, California. Integrate libraries, compute frameworks and pipelines written in Java. Process and access all Apple data stored on Hadoop clusters via Spark compute. Use statistical modeling for pipeline products to support AB experimentation. Support experimentation data set design. Use SparkSQL processing on top of Spark. Work with data science and engineering partners to coordinate requirements for new data pipelines and share results of log data analysis. Utilize user log behavior analysis and logging design. Mine logs to understand current logging and work with Maps client and data science to design new data collection. Design efficient data processing algorithms. Design performant jobs using Hadoop programming that meet customer SLAs.
