JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer (Applications) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Create product design for projects based on the Business Requirements Document, data mapping and other requirement specifications. Understand various systems to create data model that will fit the user needs. Learn and incorporate new technologies into tools developed for Apple. Optimize performance during product development. Propose to-be solution architecture to meet business needs including possible product/ framework suggestions. Understand Architectural design of different applications to analyze on integration feasibility. Interface with stakeholder teams, which are spread globally to undertake onsite-offshore specific activities. Incorporate development methodologies for smooth project deliverables. Provide consultation to the team members on complex coding and technical/product issues to ensure effective solution development. Review and develop design of application keeping in mind conformance to proposed architecture and to achieve functional and non-functional requirements. Travel required: 20% (international)
