JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer - Apps in Cupertino, CA. Architect new micro-service-based systems with relevant modern technologies. Define protocols and application programming interfaces (APIs) for interactions with services and clients. Design and build highly-scalable, performant and extensible server applications in Java. Apply best cryptographic practices with privacy and security in mind. Design efficient relational and non-relational database schemas. Collaborate with other teams from across the company, across a variety of disciplines. Provide on-call support with pager rotation to support production issues. Provide on-time resolution of high priority issues.
