JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design and develop data pipelines for Payments data products for Apple. Address any critical issues or bugs reported on the applications running on production systems. Collect and document new business requirements and translate to technical design documents. Design solutions based on technical specifications. Develop code based on the design using Spark, Scala, Hive and other big data technologies. Integrate with other systems. Responsible for production deployment, monitoring and performance tuning. Mentor new members of the team. Plan and develop proof of concepts with emerging technologies. Review source codes to identify defects and performance issues. Responsible for peer reviews and brainstorming sessions. $130,000.00 – $196,500.00/yr.
