Job Title: Senior Software Engineer        

Salary Range: $215,197/year - $220,197/year

Job Description: Define technical specifications and development requirements that result in high performing technologies that are also domain specific. Develop and enhance product and/or applications with limited direction to solve business problems of medium complexity by keeping customer experience at the forefront. Adopt and model a DevOps mindset by applying automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery in everything we do. Communicate difficult concepts, providing technical and professional interpretations and recommendations. Foster innovation by applying best practices and learning from emerging technologies and through collaboration with cross functional stakeholders. Advise and mentor junior team members and enable collaboration to help teams achieve their best. Must be available to work in office 4 days per week. Work from home permissible 1 day per week.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related role. Alternatively, employer will accept Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

Experience and/or education must include:

1. Java11, reactive Java, Spring boot, Jax-rs, Gradle, Mockito (for developing Microservices) and developing APIs;
2. Java Cryptographic algorithms to design internal security based application;
3. CosmosDB Reactive using Azure Java SDK for designing collections for microservices;
4. Docker for containerization of Microservices;
5. Azure Kubernetes Service and Pivotal Cloud Foundry for deploying and running applications;
6. Azure Event Hub and Kafka Cloud for publishing and consuming messaging events;
7. Azure Data Factory for Data Migration from Oracle Database to Azure SQL Server; and
8. Google Apigee tool for proxy design for API's to Integrate with Backend Services

Job Location: 4440 Rosewood Drive, Bldg 4, Pleasanton, CA 94588; Must be available to work in office 4 days per week. Work from home permissible 1 day per week.
