JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Software Development Engineer - Test (REQ# 200607157) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Design and develop Application Program Interface (API) tests for camera systems. Work in a cross-functional team to develop innovative camera software using Python and Objective-C programming knowledge. Work closely with software engineers, management, and other camera quality teams to create new API tests and run, maintain and triage test suites to validate new hardware modules. Handle a broad span of test areas involving developing test plans for new camera software projects, implementing tests, integrating tests into a Continuous Integration (CI) workflow, and reporting cross-functionally on project progress and risk analysis. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 - $214,500/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
