JOB TITLE: AR/VR Software Development Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for AR/VR Software Development Engineer (REQ# 200607215) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints, using software development knowledge like system design and programming patterns. Design, develop, and modify software systems using programming languages including C/C++/ObjectiveC/Swift. Utilize scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcomes and consequences of design. Develop and direct software system testing on different types of Apple hardware devices, and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. Confer with engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Author functional unit and integration tests for corresponding software features to prevent regressions. Write technical documentation for corresponding software features and API using documentation frameworks such as Doxygen.

The base pay range for this role is between $147,713 - $214,500/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
