JOB TITLE: Software Development Engineer - Systems

JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Software Development Engineer - Systems (REQ# 200605532) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop embedded software with focus on Secure Element, Payment Schemes and JavaCard including designing and developing of JavaCard Applet, enhancing existing functionality in Secure Element. Developing and maintaining tools for Application development and configuration management. Maintain existing software products by fixing bugs, enhancing features in existing Applets, and maintaining iOS application in Secure Element. Review software code and hardening security, using Security Hardening in Applications. Triage issues reported related to functionality provided by our component. Debugging and analyzing issues assigned and properly triaging them for fix by themselves or other responsible team members. Domestic and International Travel Required: 5%.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,931 - $214,500/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
